Installing faculty LMS on localhost

We don't offer local installation services, but we're dedicated to guiding you through the process of installing Faculty LMS on your localhost environment. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Prepare XAMPP: Start the XAMPP Control Panel and ensure both the Apache web server and MySQL database server are running: XAMPP Control Panel with Apache and MySQL Running.

Step 2: Extract Faculty LMS: Extract the Faculty LMS files to a directory within the XAMPP 'htdocs' folder.

Step 3: Create Database: Access http://localhost/phpmyadmin in your web browser. Click on "New" to create a new database. Enter a name (e.g., Faculty LMS) and click "Create".

Step 4: Navigate to Installation: Open your web browser and go to the Faculty LMS folder you created inside htdocs.

Step 5: Check Requirements: If all requirements are met, proceed by clicking "Next".

Step 6: Database Connection Details: Enter your database connection details:

  • Database Host: localhost
  • Database User: root
  • Database Name: the name of your database (e.g., faculty lms)
  • Administrator Account Details: First Name: Administrator's first name, Last Name: Administrator's last name, Email: Login email (cannot be changed) and Password: Admin login password.

Step 7: Provide Activation Code: Enter the purchase code received upon purchasing Faculty LMS from Envato.

Upon successful installation, the system will redirect you to the homepage.
