Create TMDB and Generate API key

  1. Sign Up/Login to TMDB: If you don't already have an account, sign up for one on the TMDB website. If you have an account, log in.

  2. Navigate to Account Settings: Once logged in, go to your account settings. You can usually find this by clicking on your profile icon or name.

  3. Access API Key Section: Look for the section related to API access or API keys within your account settings. This is where you'll generate and manage your TMDB API key.

  4. Generate New API Key: If you haven't generated a TMDB API key before, you'll likely see an option to create a new API key. Click on it to proceed.

  5. Provide Necessary Information: You may need to provide some information about your intended use of the API key. This helps TMDB ensure that their API is being used responsibly and in compliance with their terms of service.

  6. Agree to Terms: Review TMDB's terms of service and agree to them if prompted.

  7. Receive API Key: After completing the necessary steps, TMDB will generate an API key for you. This key is typically a string of alphanumeric characters.

  8. Copy API Key: Once generated, copy the API key to your clipboard or save it in a secure location. You'll need to use this key to authenticate your requests when accessing TMDB's API.
